This notice explains the main ways StoiQ Society handles account, trading, and partner-group data.
Information we collect
Account details you provide (such as your name and email), connected StoicFX trading-account identifiers, trading-journal data you create, partner or introducing-broker affiliation results, group memberships, and usage information needed to operate the platform.
How we use your information
To provide and improve the platform, confirm your StoicFX and partner affiliation, automatically place eligible users into StoiQ content groups, personalize the content and notifications you receive, communicate with you, and keep the service secure.
StoicFX partner checks
When you connect or recheck a StoicFX account, StoiQ may send the account login and a keyed, one-way value derived from your normalized email to the StoicFX partner directory. The raw email is not sent in that partner-directory request. We store the affiliation result, status, relevant IB code, and check timestamps so membership can be assigned and periodically kept up to date. A newly opened account may remain pending until its first trade makes the affiliation available to the directory.
Partner-group visibility
If a platform administrator creates a partner group and assigns its IB as the leader, eligible users in that IB network can be added automatically. The group leader and StoiQ platform administrators can view the group’s member list and the basic account profile details needed to manage it, including name, email, affiliation status, creator status, and group ban status. A group leader can manage only their own group; platform administrators retain oversight across groups.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored on secured infrastructure with access controls. We retain it while your account is active, through any post-deletion recovery window, and where required by law.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. Contact us to exercise these rights or ask a question about your privacy.
Deleting your account
When you delete your account, it is deactivated immediately and you are signed out, but your data is kept for a 14-day recovery window. During that window you can reactivate at any time and everything is restored. After the window ends, your account and personal data are permanently erased, except where we are required to retain certain records by law.
